2018
This stage shaped my core thinking:
Planning spaces that respect local needs and lifestyles
Understanding structural behavior of concrete
Learning how safety, ventilation, and usability come together
It wasn’t always smooth. There were moments where beam sizes refused to make sense, and columns seemed to have their own personality. But those struggles built clarity—and patience.

Expanding Horizons – USA Codes & Wooden Structures 🇺🇸
Once the basics were strong, I stepped into a new world—the International Building Code (IBC) and residential design practices in the United States.
This stage introduced:
- Timber and wooden structural systems
- A different approach to residential layouts
- Efficiency in construction and detailing
Switching from concrete-heavy thinking to wood-based systems felt like changing languages. At first, it was confusing—“Why is everything lighter, faster, and still strong?”
There were moments of genuine surprise… and a few laughs when I realized how differently the same problem could be solved.
This phase taught me adaptability:
Good design is not about one system—it’s about understanding many.

Precision & Integration – UK Regulations & MEP Entery 🇬🇧
The stage of my journey brought everything together through UK Building Regulations, where detailing reaches another level of precision.
Here, I focused on:
- High-quality architectural detailing
- Integration of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems
- Coordinating design with real-world construction requirements
This stage demanded attention to detail—every junction, every layer, every connection mattered.
And yes, this is where coffee became a close companion. Long hours of refining details sometimes turned into funny moments—like zooming into a drawing so much that I forgot what the whole building looked like!
But this stage truly transformed my thinking:
And this is only the beginning.
Architecture is not just design—it’s coordination, precision, and responsibility.
